How we verify these rates
Every figure we publish comes from the official eBay fee page for that marketplace, not from third-party summaries. We record the verification date and show it on each article and in the rate tables.
We cover seven marketplaces: the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Canada, France and Italy. Fee structures differ in each one, including which categories are tiered, whether item condition changes the rate, and whether a store subscription reduces the final value fee. Where a marketplace publishes no figure for something, we say so rather than estimating.
